Interpreters
Our Sign Language Interpreters are skilled in both American Sign Language and English, and translate messages from one language to the other. DHSC's full-time sign language interpreters hold national and state certifications. DHSC's interpreters are bound to a code of ethics outlined by the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID). Our professional interpreters behave in an impartial manner, not projecting their own opinions and biases into the message being processed, and abstaining from interjecting counsel and advice. Treating all information regarding an assignment confidentially is critical in order to maintain the trust of consumers.
